Q Why is paging the best and least expensive way to warn the public during an emergency?
A Because of "group call"--a paging feature that allows us to alert almost an unlimited number of people with a single radio transmission. A paging signal is less likely to be blocked by obstructions and costs a fraction of other wireless technologies. Paging is a mature technology and works very well.
